We are looking for woman-owned businesses from the WOPAT community who are ready to go to the next level. This opportunity made possible through support from the African American Chamber of Commerce of NJ and Wells Fargo. Our goal is to help you gain access to the knowledge, networks and capital you need to achieve business success. The WOPAT Small Business Training "Boot Camp" will help you develop a plan to grow your business, position your business for long-term success and get on the path to making more money for yourself doing what you love.

What You Get
Training
Over 14 weeks, we will use the Melinda Emerson "Fix My Business" book to help you strengthening your business core so that your foundation for growth is solid.
One-on-one Mentoring
Following training, we will surround you with business experts and seasoned entrepreneurs to walk with you in your journey.
Capital Readiness Support
We will help you prepare a business plan that makes sense and present it in a way that funders understand.
How It Works

The class will meet online for 14 weeks consecutive weeks, on Wednesdays, from 12:30 - 2:30 p.m.

Class begins March 6, 2020 and ends June 3, 2020. A celebration event is scheduled for June 7, 2020.

The course will be conducted online using Zoom which is accessible on any device with internet access.

The final project is a Business Executive Summary, Financial Projections and a Pitch Presentation.

Upon successful completion, you will be assigned a mentor for a three months.
