The SBA New Jersey District Office, Division of Capital Access is pleased to announce the first annual Lender and Small Business Matchmaker Conference. This event will provide small business owners and entrepreneurs the opportunity to meet one-on-one with SBA's lenders to discuss the availability of SBA guaranteed loans.
Learn first hand: • what lenders look for in a winning loan proposal, • how to increase your chances of getting a SBA loan, • the loan application process. A number of SBA lenders will be available to discuss your financial needs. In addition, representatives from the U.S. Small Business Administration, Kean University Small Business Development Center, UCEDC, and SCORE-Counselors to America's Small Business will be on site to assist in your efforts.

The Center for Urban Entrepreneurship & Economic Development
The Entrepreneurship Pioneers Initiative (EPI), funded by the North Jersey Partners through a grant provided by the U.S. Department of Labor Employment and Training Administration, is a robust training program that equips first generation entrepreneurs with the training and tools needed to help them grow their businesses. Program participants receive extensive training, group and 1-on-1 counseling, networking opportunities, mentoring and financial guidance. EPI is a collaboration between CUEED, Rutgers Small Business Development Center, Institute for Entrepreneurial Leadership, and Greater Newark Business Development Consortium.
