The Competition Winner will get:
- $25,000 cash prize from the Profeta Urban Investment
Foundation and the Center for Urban Entrepreneurship and
Economic Development at Rutgers Business School (jointly) –
(subject to terms & conditions*)
- Tuition paid entrance into Rutgers Mini-MBA in
Entrepreneurship program (a $3995 value)**
- Two custom shirts from Silver Lining Custom Tailors
- A small dessert party for the winner & up to 10 guests/clients
from A Taste of Rubies
Each of the 5 finalists will be invited to 10 IFEL monthly Next Level
meetings
Four of the finalists will get BYOB: Build Your Own Business, Don’t be
Your Own Boss, by George Sierchio
Contractors will be eligible to compete for the “Ready for the Next Level
Award”. The winner will receive a detailed business plan prepared by
one of the most successful bonding agents in NJ in addition to
mentoring and advisory services.
*The $25,000 cash award will be released to the winner of the “for-profit” category
of the 3rd Annual IFEL Business Plan Competition upon submission of a Uses of
Funds schedule and subsequent approval by the Institute for Entrepreneurial
Leadership (IFEL). Approval will be granted for uses that enable, facilitate or
support growth of the winner’s business to the next level. Funds may be dispersed
in whole or in increments. Approval and disbursement will be within the sole
discretion of the Institute for Entrepreneurial Leadership.
**in the event that the Mini-MBA in Entrepreneurship does not run, the winner will
be eligible to take instead the Mini-MBA in Business Essentials or Marketing
