Judging Regions
Application Information
- Electronic submissions may be in .pdf, .doc or .docx format;
- Preferred type font is Arial, not smaller than 10 point
- Executive Summary should not be longer than two pages
- Business Plan should not be longer than 15 pages
- Business Plan Appendix should not be longer than 10 pages
- One submission per applicant is permitted

Technical Assistance
IFEL will offer a series of technical assistance sessions to assist in the
completion of the business plan. Check our website and sign up on
our email list to get information about workshop dates.
Important Dates and Deadlines
Business Plan submissions are due on Friday, February 26, 2010.
Ten (10) printed copies must be delivered by mail or hand to 211
Warren Street, Newark, NJ 07108. An electronic copy must also be
submitted via email on February 26, 2010 to competition@ifelnj.org.
- Full Business Plan due onFriday, 2/26/2010
- Finalists will be notified by Friday, 3/12/2010
- Finalists pitch coaching will be available 3/13/2010-3/23/2010
- Finalist presentations will take place Wednesday, 3/31/2010
Finalist Notification
Finalists will be notified on or before Friday, March 12, 2010. All
finalists will make a 3-minute presentation at the Awards Luncheon
on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at New Jersey Institute of Technology
in Newark, NJ. Finalists will have an opportunity to receive presentation
coaching March 13-23, 2010. All finalists must attend the Awards
Luncheon to be considered eligible for the final round judging.
Fees
Full Business Plan Submission: $80
Technical Assistance: FREE w/ Executive Summary Submission
Awards Luncheon: $65 (Early Bird: by 3/10/2010)
$75 (In-Advance: by 3/24/2010)
$95 (At the Door)
$30 (for business plan applicants by 3/10/2010)
